The piecethat did not exist.

When no existing piece fits the intention, we design one. Then we have it made by our partner workshops and craftspeople (cabinetmakers, upholsterers, stonemasons, metalworkers), chosen for the sureness of their hand.

From a one-off piece for a private home to a run of sixty chairs for a restaurant.

01

Five stages,
a single piece.

A bespoke piece is decided on drawings, with materials in hand and, when needed, a prototype. Nothing goes into production without your written approval.

Listening

The place, the use, the constraints: access routes, loads, fire regulations for venues open to the public.

Meeting or site visit

Drawing

Sketches, then dimensioned drawings and 3D views. Proportions and joinery are agreed together.

Usually 2 to 3 weeks, confirmed in the quote

Materials

Timbers, stones, fabrics, leathers and metals: samples sent, finishes approved on the piece itself.

Physical samples

Prototype

For a series or a seat, a prototype lets us judge comfort and balance before production.

When needed

Making & installation

Made by our partner workshops and craftspeople, inspected before dispatch, delivered and installed by our partner installers.

Lead time stated on the quote, confirmed in writing by the workshop
02

Materials
with character.

We work first and foremost with natural materials, which age well and can be repaired. Each has its demands; we explain them before you choose.

04 — Your piece

Tell us
about the piece.

A few lines, a photo, a sketch on the corner of a napkin: everything helps. We usually reply within two working days, with our first questions, a budget range and a realistic lead time.

  • 01A first conversation and a budget range, with no commitment.
  • 02Drawings and a detailed quote: any design studies are quoted separately, stated from the proposal stage.
  • 03Production begins after written approval and a deposit.
Type of piece
Materials in mind

A piece made to your specifications or clearly personalised is not covered by the right of withdrawal (French Consumer Code, article L. 221-28, 3°); the quote states this.
